Dimensions up to 2500 x 1250 mm (sheet metal cutting) respectively 2488 x 1238 mm (with Forex plate backfilled) possible.
Manufacturing tolerances of +/- 5 mm are possible.
Description
For the production of metal mirrors we use a stainless steel grade 1.4301. This stainless steel is largely resistant to all possible environmental influences. The surface was perfect. The surface of the mirror is polished one-sided streak-free high gloss. It is bright, with no visible inclusions or damage. A protective film protects the surface from damage.
We can make the metal mirrors as a blank, although in the simplest version the corners are pointed, but can also be rounded on request.
We recommend gluing the mirror plates instead of on a wooden plate on a plastic plate (Forex) and pressing them with a veneer press, so that the mirror plate rests over the entire surface and thus no deformation can occur. If wood panels are used, there is a risk that, due to unevenness and moisture in the wood, the mirror panel may forgive you even after the entire surface has adhered to it, resulting in twisting.
Please note that in case of incorrect, uniform bonding of the stainless steel mirror, distortions occur which do not constitute a complaint!
Suspension
The mirrors can be manufactured with holes for screw holes. In the sanitary area, a mirror is used, which has a circumferential 6 mm edging and in this edging a plastic plate is inserted. There are two options for fixing: On the one hand, the open attachment. Here, the mirror is fixed with mirror screws, so that it can be removed at any time. Second, there is the possibility of vandal-proof attachment. In this case, the support plate is screwed onto the wall and the mirror is then glued with double-sided adhesive tape. The metal mirrors can not break. Although the metal mirror can be deformed with heavy objects, destruction is virtually eliminated.
