Info: All machine and appliance threads are fitted with an NGI HD cap nut. The feet are also from the NGI HD series for maximum hygiene.
MATERIAL
Made of stainless steel, AISI 304 or AISI 316 - depending on the application and industry.
Brief practical recommendation for NGI-HD components (cap nuts / screw connections & levelling feet):
- AISI 316/316L: For wet/wash-down zones with daily cleaning, chloride-containing media/salt, acid/alkali cleaners or outdoor areas. Typical locations: Cutting, pre-cleaning, filling/washing stations, raw goods reception.
- AISI 304: For dry to slightly damp areas without permanent moisture/chlorides. Typical locations: Packaging, order picking, technical/switch rooms, dry storage.
- Mix strategy (proven): Contact and splash water hotspots in 316L, remaining periphery in 304 - hygienically safe and economical.
