Transport technology for the foodstuff industry
What is meant by transport technology?
Transport technology for production operations, for example in the area of the foodstuff industry and related areas, comprises, among other things, movable containers, racks with rollers to introduce standardised containers as well as labour-saving transport aids such as carts and lift trucks. Most products from this area are offered in different standard sizes with certain capacities (e.g. 150 or 200 litres) or maximum load (e.g. 1,000 kg). On request, however, we can also individually adjust them to the specific needs of the production operations.
Apart from pure functionality, products from the category of transport technology must, of course, be able to be integrated as smoothly as possible into the hygiene concept of the respective operation. This encompasses surfaces and materials which have to be cleaned preferably well and fast, but in the area of transport technology also the rollers and wheels, by means of which products can be moved easily and uncomplicatedly. Apart from a design which is tailored to the special needs of the foodstuff industry, products of the category of transport technology therefore also consist as far as possible of stainless steel with its positive material characteristics.
Stainless steel container
All products in this category are made of stainless steel and equipped partly with rollers, partly with supporting feet for picking them up by lift trucks or trolleys. Stainless steel containers include: Brine containers, staking containers, trough trolleys, mixing troughs, and refrigerated containers.
Grid box pallets
Grid box pallets in standard sizes have a stable tubular frame profile and robust stacking corners. All three versions (firmly welded, with foldable lateral side and with dismountable lateral side) have the same dimensions (1,200x800x875mm) and can be run-in from all four sides.
Trolleys/ trolley collector
Trolleys are low racks with four or six rollers with tilting moment, onto which containers and Euro boxes can be stacked in order to move them over short distances. The maximum load ranges between 200 and 350 kg, depending on model. The trolley collector is a special, mobile frame, in which (flat) trolleys can be stacked on top of one another, collected or output.
Transport frame (feed trolleys)
Our transport frames can be equipped with 2 lift trucks or feed trolleys. For easy loading, the transport frames have 2 wheel grooves at the “inner bottom” as well as foldable ramps with integrated wheel grooves. We offer our transport frames in 2 versions for 2 lift trucks/feed trolleys with a capacity of 200 l or 300 l each.
Trolleys
Trolleys are transport aids to be used manually with 2 wheels and a long handle in order to utilize the leverage effect to lift heavy containers. The product range comprises three models: Drum trolley (specialised for the transport of round containers), bottle trolley (specialised for the transport of bottle-shaped objects) as well as sack trucks.
Transport trolley
The subcategory of transport trolleys comprises the largest number of different, specialised models. The scope ranges from raised shelf trolleys and clearance trolleys to stack products and materials over serving trolleys, transport trolleys for knife baskets to transport troughs, transport platform trolleys or smoke stick trolleys.
Floor conveyor technology
In the subcategory of floor conveyor technology, you can find pallet trucks and high-lift trucks with integrated hydraulics for the transport of pallets and other, heavy containers over longer distances and aloft. Three different trucks are offered in various versions and materials: Pallet trucks, scissor pallet trucks and high-lift trucks.
Etching service
For products made of stainless steel, such as standard trolleys, bins, dispenser systems, drawer cabinets, we offer the possibility to use our etching service for individual inscriptions. Due to the non-corrosive properties of stainless steel, electrolytic etching of stainless steel is one of the processes we use most frequently.
