Cabin washing machine
Cabin washing machine
Cabin washing system
Type HWA-Highline
Industry- Dishwasher with front loading for highest demands
- Reliable cleaning of crates and utensils from various fields of the food industry
- First-class washing results in spite of the universal usability
- Simple operation due to two-door system and one-button start with preselection of 2 wash programs
- Equipped with innovative washing system: Washing arms do not rotate, but move in a pivoting way.
- Washing arms with own drive, advantage: No loss of washing power, water pressure can be used unlimited for cleaning
- A clear rinsing pump is mounted in the clear rinsing line in order to increase the pressure for clear rinsing so that it is ensured that the clear rinsing arms rotate
- Very stable and fully welded machine housing, particularly suitable for permanent use
- Low energy consumption due to double-walled housing
- Easy cleaning of the system due to smooth external surfaces and an external box filter
- Electrical heating with special spiral heaters, easy to clean and secure against burn-through
- 10 kW heating power in the tank, electrical flange radiator
- 10 kW heating power of clear rinsing boiler, electrical flange radiator
- Tank heating can optionally take place using steam or hot water

Material
The machine is largely made of 18/10 chrome-nickel steel, material no. 1.4301.
The externally visible stainless steel sheet surfaces have a 320-grit finish.
The externally visible stainless steel profile surfaces have a uniform brushed finish.
Functional principle and design
The HWA Highline is a universal hood washing system for industrial use – designed for large-volume, robust and often heavily soiled items (e.g. Euro standard crates/baskets, GN containers, kettles, buckets/trolleys, baking trays, trays, moulds). It is not comparable to hood washing systems used in the catering industry – its design, power reserves and process stability are designed for large, robust and sometimes heavily soiled items.
Front loading: The items to be washed are placed in the basket (opening facing downwards) via the front loading flap, the ‘short’ or ‘long’ programme (washing times freely programmable*) is preselected and the process starts automatically after closing; removal is also via the front. Operation is designed as a one-person process.
Maximum load dimensions (intended use): width approx. 1,200 mm, length approx. 700 mm, height approx. 600 mm.
Washing system: Top and bottom driven washing arms are fed by a 4.0 kW stainless steel centrifugal pump (≈ 1,500 l/min, approx. 1.5 bar) – for thorough wetting and reliable dirt removal via 10 nozzle arms. In addition, two separate rinse arms operate in the same washing chamber, their rotation supported by a 0.75 kW rinse wash pump; the fresh water (ideally ~40 °C) is heated to ~50–80 °C in the integrated 11 kW boiler. The result: powerful main wash, followed by 4-sided rinsing with stable pressure, and clean surfaces without residues.
*Process times (individual):
Two programmes (short/long) on the 2-stage toggle switch; stored times can be parameterised via time relays:
K6T = wash time (long) · K7T = wash time (short) · K8T = drain time · K9T = rinse time.
– Relay with 2 rotary controls: top time value (% of time unit), bottom time unit.
– Relay with 1 rotary control: direct value 1–20 s.
Process sequence
Washing – Washing tank ≈ 300 l, electrically heated (11 kW) to ≈ 50–55 °C.
Rinsing – 4-sided with fresh water; 11 kW boiler + 0.75 kW rinse pump ensure temperature and rinse pressure. ≈ 15–20 l fresh water/batch; multi-stage refreshment of the wash tank.
Drainage & removal – ‘Finished’ light illuminates, removal via front flap.
Highlights & advantages
- Made for large items: 10 wash arms + 2 rinse arms, defined system pressure and high volume flows – even for bulky, heavily soiled items.
- Thermal and volumetric reserves: ≈ 300 l tank and 2 × 11 kW heating power keep temperature and performance stable where classic catering equipment reaches its limits.
- Time programmes to suit the dirt: freely adjustable washing, rinsing and draining times (K6T–K9T) instead of rigid short cycles.
- Predictable media consumption: ≈ 15–20 l/batch and multi-stage refreshing of the wash tank ensure consistent results and cost transparency.
- Hygienic, service-friendly design: rinse arms that can be removed without tools (knurled screw), accessible plate/filter technology, pump suction filter, pressure gauge ball valve (only open briefly), removable panels.
