Description
The knife disinfection is carried out by means of hot water at min. 82 ° C
Before disinfecting the blades, they must be cleaned with suitable cleaning agents. Dirt deposits on the knife surface impair the disinfection effect. Scratches etc. in the knife surface favor the adhesion of dirt and germs. After the knife disinfection tank has reached the necessary temperature (> 82 ° C), the knives are mounted in the holder of the knife disinfection box up to the handle.
The subsequent residence time in the basin is decisive for the extent of the germ killing. This should be at least 60 seconds.
We therefore recommend the use of at least 2 knives in the workplace.
