Preparation basin for plastination
type PPB
functional stainless steel basin for plastination
- Sturdy stainless steel design: Rectangular basin made of 18/10 stainless steel (1.4301) with 2 mm wall thickness.
- Lid for easy handling: Hinged lid on one side with ergonomic round steel handles.
- Smooth opening & closing: Gas pressure dampers support the lid - controlled, secure, without "slamming shut".
- Reinforced, tightly welded rim: All-round reinforced rim for high stability and a clean, robust design.
- Large usable volume: approx. 1,500 litre tank volume for large-volume process media and workpieces/preparations.
- Solid base: 6 stainless steel feet, not height-adjustable.
- Defined gradient to the drain: stacking feet with different heights for gradient arrangement - media run in a controlled manner to the left-hand drain.
- External drain technology: DN50-AG basin outlet with ball valve (2") - robust and easily accessible.
- Automatic filling: Siemens logo control integrated at the rear for automatic filling with sensor switch-off.

Material
Manufactured from stainless steel 18/10 material no. 1.4301.
The externally visible stainless steel sheet surfaces have a polished finish with 320 grit.
The externally visible stainless steel profile surfaces, such as the tubular frame profile construction, have a uniform brushed finish.
Description:
The stainless steel preparation basin is designed for process steps in plastination and for comparable preparation and preservation applications. The rectangular tank (material 1.4301) offers a generous capacity of around 1,500 litres and supports clean, controlled media handling.
The hinged lid with gas pressure dampers on one side makes it easy to open and close, while the all-round, tightly welded reinforcing rim additionally stabilises the construction. For safe, reproducible emptying, the bowl is designed with a defined slope to the left-hand drain; the external DN50 outlet with ball valve is easily accessible. The Siemens logo control system enables automatic filling with sensor switch-off.
Sequence/ process description
- Start filling (push-button operation)
Filling of the basin is started by pressing the push-button. Automatic filling starts in a controlled manner. - Automatic stop via fill level sensor
As soon as the fill level sensor recognises the defined fill level (sensor reports signal), filling is stopped automatically. - Manual stop (press button again)
Filling can be stopped manually at any time by pressing the button again. - Restart delay (5 seconds)
After stopping, there is a delay of five seconds before the button can be pressed again to restart filling. - Start block with active sensor signal
Filling cannot be started as long as the fill level sensor is signalling (fill level reached). This reliably prevents overfilling. - Process phase
After filling, preparations/body parts can be treated in the basin; the generous volume supports stable process conditions. - Emptying
Thanks to the gradient arrangement, the medium flows reliably to the drain on the left-hand side. Emptying takes place via the external DN50-AG outlet with 2" ball valve.
OPTIONS
