Description
The electrically powered pull and push aid made of stainless steel was specially developed for the ergonomic transport of 200 or 300 litre DIN 9797 for lifting and loading trolleys (cutter trolleys). Ergonomic, practical and highly manoeuvrable, companies (mostly) in the food sector can relieve their employees and increase productivity at the same time.
SITUATION
Musculoskeletal disorders are at the top of the list of occupational illnesses, accounting for over 50%. 35% of all absences from work are due to illnesses caused by incorrect posture. In addition to the "costs of continued salary payments in the event of illness", the resulting absences also cause employers considerable personnel and organisational problems. In many cases, qualified staff cannot be replaced at short notice. Bottlenecks in operational processes are therefore often unavoidable.
ERGONOMICS
Ergonomics and occupational medicine deal with this problem. Together with the employers' liability insurance associations, they ensure that the technical working environment is adapted to people. An ergonomically designed workstation that can be optimally adapted to the height and personal working style of the employee offers a number of advantages.
On the one hand, it is an effective means of reducing the increasing incidence of back and skeletal disorders, which often only occur as long-term consequences of permanently incorrect posture and uncoordinated movement sequences.
On the other hand, the direct effects can also be of great importance for occupational safety. Correct working conditions can reduce both physical fatigue and physical strain.
Longer-lasting concentration leads to a lasting reduction in the acute risk of accidents and injuries as well as an increase in motivation and quality of work. Under optimal conditions, an increase in productivity of up to 15% can be achieved.
