Description

The premium safety eye shower for wall mounting is designed for work areas where a quick and reliable response is required in the event of eye accidents - for example in the food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in laboratories, workshops or logistics areas with cleaning agents and disinfectants. The permanently installed eye shower is a highly visible first aid measure that is available at all times if eyes come into contact with chemicals, foreign particles or dust.

Two 45° angled high-performance shower heads provide a wide, soft water jet that evenly rinses the eye area and helps to rinse out chemicals and contaminants. An integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a constant flow rate of approx. 14 litres per minute at a flow pressure of 1.5-5 bar - this ensures a standard-compliant, uniform spray pattern, regardless of the water pressure applied.

Activation takes place via a control panel on the side with a large, clearly labelled "PUSH" signal. Activation is intuitive and easy to understand, even in stressful situations. Dust covers on the shower heads protect the nozzles from soiling in standby mode and open automatically during the rinsing process due to the water pressure. Rubber sleeves directly on the shower head reduce the risk of impact injuries in the sensitive eye and face area.

The Premium eye shower combines a robust stainless steel construction with functional plastic and rubber components: The wall flange, connection pipe, ball valve and control plate are made of polished stainless steel and are designed for continuous industrial operation and easy cleaning. The shower heads themselves have plastic spray plates for even water distribution, rubber protective sleeves as impact protection and dust caps made of chemical-resistant plastic. Large holes in the shower heads reduce stagnant water and prevent limescale build-up - a plus for hygiene and maintenance.

With its compact dimensions of approx. W 250 x H 200 x D 310 mm, the eye shower can be installed directly in the danger zone to save space. The water connection is made via a 3/4" internal thread. The design is constructed in accordance with BGI/GUV-I 850-0, DIN 1988, DIN EN 1717 and DIN EN 15154-2:2006 and is DIN-DVGW tested and approved - an important aspect for occupational safety, documentation and approval by specialist planners and supervisory authorities.
