After hand washing, the right way of drying hands is also an integral part of hand hygiene at work and in everyday life. In the process, it is particularly important to have a good and easy-to-use solution for drying the hands of employees in companies with high hygiene standards, such as in the food industry. In general, there are two different ways or types of systems for hygienic hand drying: Towel dispenser for paper hand towels (in rolls or filled with individual disposable towels) or so-called hand dryers which remove the moisture from hands by means of air flow.
The background of the particular importance of drying hands properly is that microorganisms (bacteria and germs) can often thrive particularly well in the moist environment of the skin that inevitably develops on the hands after washing them with water. Not until finally drying the hands you can deprive them of the basis for survival and reproduction. For an even better overall solution of the entire complex of hand hygiene, an additional disinfection of the clean and dried hands is recommended following the hand drying.

Towel dispenser "manual"
In the product category of towel dispenser “manual” for hygienic hand drying, Mohn offers the wall-mounted folded towels dispenser type HTSP with pitched roof in the variants with or without closing device. The folded towels dispenser has a capacity of approx. 400 folded paper towels and has a level glass gauge made of break-proof polycarbonate.
Roll box "manual"
In the product area of roll box “manual” – a wall-mounted stainless steel dispenser with a pitched roof filled with a paper towel roll with internal unwinding – there are also two variants, one with and one without a closing device. The manual roll boxes are designed for commercial paper towel rolls with a diameter of up to 240 mm.
Roll box "contactless"
The roll box “contactless” from our range is wall-mounted and has a pitched roof. It is filled with paper towel rolls with external take-off in the maximal dimensions from 200 to 190 mm with a roll core of a least 38 mm. A sensor enables contactless singe-sheet dispensing. The roll box is operated using batteries.
Hand dryer
In the product category of hand dryers, those machines are summarised which activate air flow for hygienic hand drying. With the types Jet I, as well as and Jet II, we offer two devices with different characteristics in this area. With these air dryers, hand drying is achieved in only 10 to 15 seconds.
Accessories
Suitable to our products from the category of hand drying, we offer the wall-mounted Dryrack for individual storage in two versions: wall-mounted and for assembly on the left or right side of the sluice. Furthermore, a wall-mounted catch basin for the Dyson Airblade to avoid damp, slippery floors in the washrooms.

When planning the implementation of hand drying devices in a comprehensive hygiene concept, the spatial proximity to the hand washing devices is crucial. In the best case, it should be possible to move from one place (hand cleaning) directly to the next (hand drying), in a similar way as in a washing system or hygiene station. Furthermore, following the hand drying, a disinfectant dispenser for hand disinfection can be installed if this is reasonable or even necessary. It is often useful to install hand drying systems both in the social rooms or washrooms as well as near or in the production area - that is everywhere where hand cleaning and subsequent hand drying is required before or after work.
