Description

The automatic hose reel type ASA-HL EP is a robust stainless steel design with automatic spring retraction for regular use in industrial, production, cleaning and hygiene areas. It is suitable for wet working environments in which hoses need to be guided safely, picked up safely and returned in a controlled manner after use. Typical areas of application include the food industry, meat and sausage processing, bakery industry, beverage industry, milk processing, pet food production, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry as well as technical cleaning and maintenance areas.

The hose reel is supplied without pre-assembled food hose. The retractable hose length depends on the respective hose reel type and the intended hose design.

For hygienic areas, the automatic hose reel is designed in electropolished stainless steel. The stainless steel construction, maintenance-free chemical-resistant plastic plain bearings and stainless steel angled swivel joints support use in damp, dirty and cleaning-intensive environments. The hose reel is designed for operating temperatures of up to 100 °C as standard; it can be optionally modified for operating temperatures of up to 180 °C for an additional charge.

Installation is flexible: the automatic hose reel type ASA-HL EP can be mounted on the wall with or without an optional bracket, depending on the structural situation. Suitable bracket variants are also available, including a swivelling wall bracket and an angle bracket for fixed wall mounting. With the angled bracket, the hose reel can be mounted either parallel to the wall or at right angles to the wall - depending on how the hose is to be routed at the workstation. A wall swivelling bracket is also available, which allows the hose reel to be aligned flexibly and the hose to be routed more conveniently to different work areas. The hose inlet window can be mounted in different positions depending on the direction of pull.

A centrifugal brake is available as a useful accessory. It ensures a controlled, slower hose return and prevents the hose from being retracted too quickly or in an uncontrolled manner. This protects the hose, connections, reel mechanism and hose guide. At the same time, the centrifugal brake increases safety for operators, especially with longer hose lengths, frequent use and working areas with pedestrian traffic.
