Material
Stainless steel furniture manufactured from 18/10 chromium-nickel steel, material grade 1.4301.
The externally visible stainless steel sheet surfaces have a 320-grit sanded finish.
The externally visible stainless steel profile surfaces, such as table legs, all have a brushed finish.
Cabinet body with a material thickness of 1.0 mm.
Description
The AS/3-SL Highline storage cabinet combines secure storage space with a clearly organised arrangement of a wide variety of work equipment. The fully welded construction made from 1.4301 stainless steel is specifically designed for production and work areas where robust, durable and easy-to-clean equipment is required.
With a total width of 2,110 mm, the cabinet is divided into three compartments, each 650 mm wide. Each compartment combines several enclosed storage areas with two centrally positioned drawers. This provides a total of six storage compartments and six drawers.
This combination allows for a clear separation of different work equipment: larger items can be stored in the enclosed compartments, whilst smaller utensils, tools, documentation or frequently used aids remain within easy reach in the drawers.
Enclosed storage space with visual inspection
The storage compartments are closed by left-hinged double doors. Large transparent polycarbonate panels are integrated into the doors, held in place all round by a rubber seal.
This allows the contents of the individual cabinet sections to be seen from the outside without having to open the relevant door. Particularly in structured production environments, this can reduce the time spent searching for materials and help to maintain visible order.
The individual compartments can be locked using profile cylinder locks. Thanks to the keyed-alike design, the corresponding doors can be conveniently operated with the same key.
Six integrated drawers
Between the upper and lower storage areas, each cabinet compartment features two drawers arranged one above the other, each 210 mm high.
The six drawers in total run on partial-extension runners and provide additional, directly accessible storage space. This allows smaller work tools to be stored separately from larger items and clearly allocated to the individual work or functional areas.
Structured layout across three levels
The upper compartment has a clear height of 489 mm.
In the lower section, a permanently welded shelf provides additional compartmentalisation. There are two further storage levels available with clear heights of 330 mm and 460 mm respectively.
This allows items of different sizes to be stored separately within a single compartment – from smaller consumables to larger containers, bins or equipment.
Highline version with sloping roof
The integrated, 200 mm high sloping roof largely prevents the top of the cabinet from being used as an additional storage surface.
This is a practical advantage, particularly in areas with heightened hygiene requirements: cardboard boxes, work equipment or other items can quickly accumulate on horizontal surfaces. At the same time, this creates additional surfaces on which dust and dirt can settle.
The sloping Highline version thus supports a well-organised and easy-to-clean layout.
150 mm ground clearance for improved accessibility
The storage cabinet stands on height-adjustable plastic feet. This allows for minor unevenness in the floor surface to be compensated for.
The 150 mm groundclearance ensures that the area beneath the cabinet is easily accessible, thereby facilitating the cleaning of the installation area.
Due to the cabinet’s total height of 2,200 mm, including the sloping roof, an additional anti-tilt mechanism is provided. The rear panel features the necessary drill holes for professional on-site fixing.
