MATERIAL
Almost completely made of stainless steel 1.4301, surface glass bead blasted.
The following parts are not made of stainless steel: Chain, tilting roller, gear motor, control unit and small parts.
Description
The design of the lifting and tipping device is determined by the type and viscosity of the bulk material and, if necessary, extended by special chutes, hoppers, lifting forks or lifting platforms. This means that the tipping devices can be customised for almost any application.
In contrast to the standard container feed, straight in the direction of tilting, the 2-column lifting and tilting device for large containers (big boxes) shown here is equipped with the option of lateral container feed for confined spaces.
In accordance with DIN EN ISO 13854, the safety distance between the container when tilted and the device to be loaded (e.g. hopper of a packaging machine or tumbler) is 120 mm.
ADVANTAGES
- Hygienic design: lifting column and control box
- Mechanical chain breakage protection, spring-operated
- Control box incl. operating elements mounted at a service-friendly height using spacers
- Automatic switching for up and down (no dead man's switch)
- Safety fence to the latest standards included
- Stainless steel chain guard
- Optical chain tension indicator
=> ADVANTAGE: Immediate fault detection
=> ADVANTAGE: Higher machine availability
=> ADVANTAGE: Simple chain tensioning
=> ADVANTAGE: Simple, quick visual inspection - Predetermined breaking point at the chain deflection
=> ADVANTAGE: Prevents major damage - Chain: neutral marking (no flags for sensor or similar)
=> ADVANTAGE: Easy replacement of the chain
=> ADVANTAGE: No need to adjust the end positions - Separate inspection openings
=> ADVANTAGE: Enables quick maintenance and repair
Special drop guard
The safety catch is made of stainless steel and consists of a 4 mm thick U-profile rail with rectangular fixing holes and a compression spring-activated 25 mm fork.
The safety catch is activated when the chain breaks or sags. If this happens, the compression spring is triggered and the fork rotates into the fixing holes and brings the load to an immediate stop.
In contrast to conventional lifting and tilting devices, servicing is not necessary once the mechanical safety device has been triggered.
