DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATIONS

The industrial washing plant has several remarkable features that underline its performance and adaptability. With an impressive hourly output of around 100 to 150 liver loaf and pâté moulds, it efficiently manages its main task. In addition, lattice slats measuring 995 x 490 x H 140 mm can be thoroughly cleaned in this unit.

The throughput width of the washing tunnel is 700 mm, which provides sufficient space to convey moulds and lattice slats lengthwise through the system. Interestingly, the narrower liver cheese and pâté moulds, which are a maximum of 160 mm wide, can be transported through the washing tunnel side by side at the same time. This allows for high efficiency and throughput.

Special attention was paid to the height of the grating handles, which resulted in the washing tunnel throughput height being adjusted accordingly. To ensure safe and effective washing, special hold-downs have been implemented. These hold down the items to be washed to prevent them from being "pushed out" by the water pressure.

The stainless steel conveyor belt is individually adapted to the material to be washed and has welded-on carriers. This helps to ensure that the moulds are always an appropriate distance apart. This prevents the front sides of the moulds from colliding with each other during passage, which additionally ensures thorough cleaning of the moulds.

Two generously dimensioned stainless steel centrifugal pumps with a total power of 23 kW enable a remarkable circulation of 3,000 litres per minute at a washing pressure of 3 bar, which ensures an impressive cleaning performance.

The tank, with a capacity of around 1,000 litres, is equipped with a separate external box filter that efficiently collects coarse dirt such as dried meat residues. The external filter can be easily cleaned during operation, which facilitates maintenance of the unit.

A special highlight is the V4A steam tube heat exchanger in the tank with a heating capacity of 40 kW. This makes it possible to raise the washing temperature to about 55 to 60°C, which means that even baked-on dirt can be removed effectively. The included condensate return further utilises the residual energy of the condensate in the boiler house, which contributes to sustainable energy efficiency.

The rinse zone is supplied with fresh water from the customer, which is also heated by steam. After a thorough fresh water rinse, during which excess detergent is removed, the moulds or grid slats enter the 1500 mm long discharge zone.

A sophisticated vapour extraction system, which integrates extraction points in the infeed and outfeed area of the washer, ensures a significant reduction in condensation during operation. These technological refinements make the system not only extremely effective in terms of cleaning performance, but also resource-saving and economically viable.
