DESCRIPTION

The manually operated lifting aid made of stainless steel 1.4301 (also known as V2A) was specially developed for the transport of DIN 9797 containers / loading trolleys (meat trolleys). Ergonomic, practical and very agile, companies (mostly) from the food sector can relieve their employees by using them and at the same time increase productivity.

 

Situation

Musculoskeletal disorders are at the top of the occupational diseases with a share of over 50%. 35% of all absenteeism in workplaces can be attributed to illnesses caused by incorrect posture. The resulting absences cause employers not only the "costs for continued wage payments in the event of illness", but also considerable personnel and organizational problems. In many cases, qualified personnel cannot be replaced at short notice. Bottlenecks in the operational process are therefore often inevitable.

 

ERGONOMICS

Ergonomics and occupational medicine deal with this problem. Together with the employers' liability insurance association, you ensure that the technical work environment is adapted to people. An ergonomically designed workplace that can be optimally adapted to the height and personal way of working of the employee offers a number of advantages.

On the one hand, it is an effective means of reducing the increasing number of back and skeletal diseases, which often only appear as a long-term consequence of permanently incorrect posture and uncoordinated movement sequences.

On the other hand, the immediate effects can also be of great importance for occupational safety. Proper working conditions can reduce both physical fatigue and physical strain.

The longer-lasting concentration leads to a lasting reduction in the acute risk of accidents and injuries as well as to an increase in motivation and quality of work. Under optimal conditions, productivity can be increased by up to 15%.
