Areas of application
In the area of public buildings such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools or authorities, wall protection is often required in order not to pollute, exploit or damage the substrate.
High-quality components in highly frequented areas are permanently protected against damage. In addition, the wide range of colors allows for optical accents. The plates are homogeneously dyed and have a slightly textured surface.
Due to the original use in the aviation sector, the material is of the highest fire resistance conditions. In this area, the material strength is less important than the flammability class or fire protection class of the material. In these public areas, flammability class B1 is usually required. This means that the material can ignite by an external flame, but is self-extinguishing after the flame has been extinguished.
For this area, a full wall wall protector from ACROLEN is suitable. This meets the current fire protection standards according to DIN and EN. It can be selected from different materials. Normal ACROLEN comes originally from the aviation industry and thus meets the strictest requirements in the area of fire protection. The material is PVC-reduced and can fall back on the widest range of colors and shapes.
If a PVC-free wall protection panel is required, you can select ACROLEN-TOP. The material is completely PVC-free and meets the flammability class B1 with s1d0 according to EN13501-1.
An antibacterial solution is also possible with ACROLEN-MED. The B1 is also fulfilled here.
The assembly is carried out by means of full-surface bonding on the substrate. The suitable mounting adhesive is available from us. The material can be adapted on site with woodworking machines (socket outlets, wave cut, etc.).
Material thickness 2 mm: guarantees a sufficient stiffness of the plates and thus allows a simple, trouble-free assembly.

Resistance and temperature
ACROLEN products are classified as chemically resistant to many dilute and concentrated acids, alkalis and salts.
Aromatics and halo hydrocarbons, esters and ketones dissolve it.
ACROLEN is generally applicable up to 60 ° C.
Corners and finishes
The inner corners are fitted with a blunt thrust. Therefore, no parts are required from the factory.
Outside corners are manufactured at the height of the wall protection profile and can be ordered
in individual trolley lengths. A flap is manufactured which can be easily adjusted on site.
For areas where the edge is to be protected higher than the wall protection profiles, an edge protection profile is recommended over the entire height. Possible lengths from 30 x 30 mm to 100 x 100 mm.

If the wall protector ends on a frame, no end seal is required. If the wall protection ends without a connection, the end can either be grouted or adjusted by a phase.
Broken or milled edges
If the cut edges of the profile are not to be grouted, a broken or rounded edge is recommended.
Special shapes and design
In addition to the standard profiles, it is possible to make appealing designs or optically enhancing special shapes (e.g., wave cut). The wall protector can be unobtrusively adapted or installed as a single design element. All visible edges of the plates and profiles are deburred.
Cut outs for sockets and light switches can be milled on the factory or on site. For the
preparation in the factory, we need a sketch.
