Turnstiles
Turnstile systems for personnel flow control
Turnstile systems can be used meaningfully wherever personnel flows need to be guided and separated. A good example is entering and leaving a personnel hygiene station upstream of the production area. Turnstiles can form both the beginning and the end of a guided walking route and can also be interposed in intermediate stations. The turnstiles used to guide personnel can be controlled either manually or electronically and ensure that employees only pass through the turnstile one after the other and not at the same time.
The advantages of personnel flows controlled by turnstile systems lie in the forced guidance of these flows through a specific, linear path. Turnstile systems are therefore frequently used in operations of the foodstuff industry and other areas when guiding people through various hygiene stations. This way it can be ensured that the personnel flows make use of all the necessary hygiene measures one after the other and thus comply with the hygiene regulations. At the same time, it has to be kept in mind that the use of turnstile systems is particularly worthwhile where there is a high number of staff, where, in addition to guidance, a regulated order in the flow of personnel can also help accelerate the entry and exit of a production area.
Turnstile (electrical) highline
The turnstile system Turnstile type DK-E Highline with electrically released passage and blocked return path is designed in hygienic stainless steel and is offered in three different configurations. Furthermore, this turnstile system has the option of a potential-free contact, such as for time-recording systems.
Turnstile (mechanical) highline
The turnstile system Turnstile type DK-M Highline allows the barrier to be passed through on one side. The return path is permanently closed. The model is made of robust stainless steel. Of the four configurations of these turnstiles, 2 each can be wall-mounted and 2 each can be used as floor-standing units.
Turnstile (electrical) ecoline
The turnstile system Turnstile type DK-E Ecoline with electrically released passage in one direction and optionally blocked or electrically released path in the opposite direction is made of stainless steel. Furthermore, this turnstile system has the option of a potential-free contact, such as for time-recording systems.
Turnstile (mechanical) ecoline
The turnstile system Turnstile type DK-M Ecoline in hygienic design version and stainless steel construction is offered in three variants with a stand frame or for wall mounting. The passage is mechanically released in one direction and permanently mechanically blocked in the opposite direction.
Turnstile (1 track) "Anti-panic"
The turnstile system Drop-arm turning lock type DS-DA with one direction of passage (optionally left or right) is equipped with the electrical drop-arm turning lock technology and has potential-free contact, such as for coupling with a fire alarm system. When triggered, the turning lock drops and allows quick and unhindered exit or entry.
Portal turnstiles
The turnstile system Portal turnstile type PDK is available in three variants (electric 1-way, electric 2-way and mechanical). The high-quality model with pitched roof is designed for the person separation and access control and, due to its stainless steel design, is also suitable for wet and outdoor areas.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION FOR TURNSTILE SYSTEMS
PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF TURNSTILE SYSTEMS
Turnstiles are a means of personnel flow guidance. Depending on what they are used for, planning of the place of installation must also be considered. As specialists for hygiene technology, the turnstile systems from Mohn are also designed for use in hygienically sensitive or demanding environments, e.g. as entry and exit control for necessary hygiene measures. Using the forced guidance through turnstiles, the passage through the various hygiene stations is ensured. The interconnection of further turnstiles and their coupling with individual hygiene technology systems can also be useful. We are glad to put our technically competent staff and decades of experience at the service of your company in order to help you with the planning and implementation of the installation of turnstiles.
