What is Hygiene Technology? 25 Years Experience

Hygiene technology comprises mechanical and other technical solutions to comply with a hygienic work environment. These solutions can be divided into three areas:

1. Personal hygiene

 

2. Industrial hygiene

 

3. Product hygiene

 

Hygiene technology comprises some different categories of technical solutions which can also be partly combined with one another to become complex systems. This is true for Industrial Washing Systems, for working tools, but also for Hygiene Stations, for employees, in which various cleaning and disinfection steps are carried out in a prescribed sequence o even have to be carried out (hygiene stations with forced guidance).

Hand cleaning

Devices for hand cleaning belong to the basic equipment of any operations, not only in food production. Possibilities range from basins with or without soap or disinfectant dispensers to sluices for several persons to integrated solutions such as hygiene stations.

Hand disinfection

Hand disinfection, for example, is prescribed when handling foodstuffs or other products which can be easily contaminated. Hand disinfection can either be implemented by providing special disinfectant dispensers or integration as disinfection dispenser machine with or without turnstile.

Hand drying

Such as hand washing or disinfecting, subsequent drying is of course important and necessary. We offer a wide variety of models – from paper towel dispensers to contactless compressed air dryers.

Sole cleaning

Whether in the barn or slaughterhouse – the soles of work shoes or boots are also quickly soiled. Our special systems for sole cleaning can be separately installed for themselves or integrated with other devices of hygiene technology.

Sole disinfection

For sole disinfection, we offer the respectively suitable solution from the disinfection mat to disinfection basins to the integration of positively guided systems. A lot of sole cleaning systems can be additionally modified for sole disinfection without brushes.

Boot cleaning

Boot cleaning is required when not only the soles, but also the bootlegs have been soiled. Our boot cleaning systems with rotating brush rollers and fed detergent. They can also be combined with sole cleaning or integrated in hygiene station concepts.

Turnstiles

Turnstile systems are an important part of controlled person separation when entering and leaving a production plant. In addition, turnstiles remind of the necessary hygiene measures when they alternatively are not coupled with them right away and give way after correct usage only.

Hand rails / Handrail gates

Handrails with or without chicane are helpful for guiding personnel flows (e.g. with parallel entry and exit lanes). On the other hand, gates and pass-through barriers help regulate the personnel flow in case of great volume. Here, too, we offer everything from a single source. They can be combined with other products from the area of hygiene technology.

Dispenser systems for disposables

USAGE OF HYGIENE TECHNOLOGY IN PRACTICE Stainless Steel

The perception of hygiene is defined as the teaching of health maintenance of men through cleaning the body and clothing as well as the work environment. In practice, hygiene technology can be divided into three different areas, which are used depending on the industry and which are also regulated by law:

1. Personal hygiene:

 

Apart from washing and/or disinfecting the hands, personal hygiene also includes clean appearance and thus clean clothes and working tools. With particular business forms, there is a duty for special working clothes - for example in laboratories, medical facilities or in the food industry. Also guidelines with regard to wearing jewellery, hair and finger nails are partly prescribed. Medical examinations can also be part of hygiene regulations.

 

2. Industrial hygiene:

 

Regulations about industrial hygiene pertain to production plants and premises of the company. Especially premises which are jointly used and/or in which there is a high frequency of visitors, for example the office kitchen and the toilets, are concerned by hygiene regulations. Apart from cleanliness, proper storage of foodstuffs also plays an important role with the regulations in question.

 

3. Product hygiene:

 

Product hygiene concerns in particular the food industry so that as few microorganisms as possible can get on or into the foodstuffs during the production process. Already existing microorganisms shall be prevented from reproduction. Here the right temperature plays a particular role. The work materials and/or auxiliary means used for the production of different products must be strictly separated from one another, with the foodstuffs not being allowed to be touched by hand, which is why gloves or suitable auxiliary means have to be used.
