Description
Fold-Up HDPE Worktop for Easy Cleaning
The fold-up HDPE worktop allows for quick access to the area beneath the work surface. This makes it easy to inspect and clean the table frame, the underside of the worktop, and hard-to-reach crevices during daily cleaning.
Fewer Dirt Traps in the Work Area
Folding up the cutting board makes it easier to remove residue, moisture, and cleaning fluids. This promotes a hygienic work environment and helps prevent buildup in hidden areas of the work table.
Cleaning Without Removing the Worktop
The HDPE worktop remains securely attached to the universal table and does not need to be completely removed or stored separately for cleaning. This saves steps, reduces organizational effort, and ensures that the workstation is ready for use again more quickly after cleaning.
Easy Access for Visual Inspections
When the worktop is folded up, employees can immediately inspect the underside of the worktop as well as the stainless steel frame. This facilitates visual hygiene checks and supports traceable cleaning procedures in sensitive production areas.
Practical for Frequent Cleaning Intervals
The flip-up worktop offers a clear advantage, especially in areas requiring regular interim or final cleaning: The worktable can be cleaned without time-consuming disassembly. This supports short cleaning times and a structured workflow.
A durable work surface and hygienic access in one
The 30 mm thick HDPE-500 worktop provides a durable cutting and work surface. Its flip-up design combines sturdy performance in everyday use with easy access for cleaning and maintaining the entire worktable.

FAQ
The worktop is made of food-grade HDPE-500 plastic and is 30 mm thick. It is supplied in white as standard; other colours are available.
The Highline universal workbench is suitable for work and production areas where robust cutting and work surfaces, as well as easily traceable cleaning procedures, are required. This model is particularly useful where frequent interim or final cleaning is required, as the worktop can be positioned directly at the workstation.
The Highline universal table combines a 30 mm-thick HDPE-500 cutting board with a permanently welded stainless steel base frame. A key feature is the hygienic round-tube frame, which includes a special mechanism that allows the HDPE worktop to be raised ergonomically during cleaning.
When the cutting board is raised, the underside of the board, the stainless steel frame and the areas between the worktop and the substructure are particularly accessible. This makes it easier to clean areas that would otherwise be difficult to see and helps to maintain hygiene standards throughout the workplace.
The HDPE cutting plate, which is fitted into the round-tube frame, is raised for the cleaning process. The device provided for this purpose facilitates the ergonomic positioning of the plate directly on the table and allows unobstructed access to its underside and to the base frame.
On the standard universal table, too, the 30 mm-thick HDPE-500 cutting board is set into a stainless steel frame. However, its H-shaped braced substructure does not feature the special Highline mechanism for ergonomically positioning the board during the cleaning process. With the Highline universal table, the cutting board can therefore be positioned directly at the workstation, whereas the standard version is not designed to allow this.
Installing the HDPE worktop makes the areas that would otherwise be concealed immediately accessible. This makes it easier to clean and visually inspect the underside of the worktop, the round-tube frame, the struts and the gaps between them. Residue, moisture and cleaning fluids can be removed more effectively.
This special device makes it easier to handle the large-format HDPE sheet during the cleaning process. Staff do not need to remove the sheet from the table and set it aside separately; instead, they can raise it in a controlled manner at their workstation. This reduces physical strain and allows both cleaning and drying to be carried out in one place.
