Description

The AT-2B-AB packing table is a robustly constructed stainless steel workstation designed for industrial packaging, dispatch and order-picking areas. With a work surface measuring 1200 × 800 mm, the table offers ample space for packing, sorting, checking and preparing goods. The structure is manufactured entirely from 18/10 chromium-nickel steel (grade 1.4301) and is therefore particularly suitable for work areas where robust, durable and easy-to-clean equipment is required.

The 1.5 mm thick stainless steel worktop is reinforced by a perimeter profile frame. This ensures the worktop retains a high degree of dimensional stability even with daily industrial use. A three-sided upstand, 250 mm high, prevents packaging materials, cartons or smaller tools from falling off the work surface at the sides or at the rear. The two front sections of the upstand are bevelled at a 45° angle, ensuring that the actual work area remains easily accessible.

Above the worktop is an additional 300 mm deep storage shelf with a three-sided upstand 200 mm high. This allows packaging materials, labels, documents or frequently used work equipment to be kept within easy reach directly at the workstation. The storage shelf is supported by four sturdy square tubular sections measuring 40 × 40 × 1.5 mm. The drawing specifies a total height of 1620 mm for the entire structure. 

The base unit also makes efficient use of the available space: two permanently welded, closed storage shelves allow for the organised storage of cartons, containers, packaging materials or other equipment. There is a clear heightof 279 mm between each pair of shelves.

To ensure a stable and practical stance, the table legs are set back 100 mm on each side and at the rear. This ensures that the legs are set back from the immediate working and movement area. The welded 3 mm-thick base plates measure approx. 105 × 85 mm as per the drawing and each feature four fixing holes with a diameter of 9 mm. This allows the packing table to be permanently secured to the workshop floor if required. The 50 mm groundclearance also facilitates cleaning of the floor area beneath the structure.

A distinction is also made between sheet metal and sectioned structures in terms of surface finish: visible stainless steel sheet surfaces are given a 320-grit finish, whilst visible tubular and sectioned surfaces are uniformly brushed. This creates a consistent, high-quality stainless steel appearance.
